Gocek
The town has a varied selection of waterfront restaurants and bars and a pedestrianised precinct where there is an abundance of local shops selling arts & crafts, jewellry, food shops and supermarkets. We love visiting the 12 Islands on one of the Gulet boat tours. The beach on Gocek Island is one of our favourite and so quiet. A favourite place to visit by water are the Cleopatras Baths.
On Sundays we enjoy a morning at Gocek market where we buy fresh local produce and then meander around the stalls taking in the ambience.

Not far from Gocek is the town of Fethiye. This town has a beautiful waterfront
to expore but we go there because the Erasta inside Shopping precinct has everything you need including a cinema complex (with films in English) and those all important shops we have in the UK! Fethiye also has charming old town shops and its own quirky character that makes it attractive to visit, including Ancient Lyceum Roman Tombs.
